What is Myofascial Release?
Fascia is a thin, elastic connective tissue that encases the muscles. Overuse, trauma, and inactivity can result in pain, muscle tension, and diminished blood flow. Myofascial release is a modality of massage that uses slow, stretching pressure to improve mobility, reduce pain, relax contracted muscles, and improve blood and lymphatic circulation in the body. I, personally, perform this with 3 levels of depth: hand compressions, targeted massage with the hands/thumbs on triggers and trouble spots, and then broad strokes with forearms. It is a generally very relaxing method of massage, while still being extremely therapeutic.

There is ample parking across the street in several areas or if there is an open spot on the street you can park there. See provided map
view for parking areas available.
What payment options do you offer?
I accept payment via cash, Venmo, Zelle or credit/debit card. Credit and debit cards will incur a 3% processing fee.
How should i prepare for my massage appointment?
do whatever helps you relax: stretch, workout, meditate/pray or sauna. Shower, wear comfortable clothing and arrive well hydrated.
You'll want to ensure that toxins circulated during the massage process are swiftly flushed out of the body. If dehydrated,
you may feel an after effect of flu-like symptoms as the body tries to detox. Remove jewelry. A hair tie or clip can be provided if you
need to tie up your hair. Please silence your cell phones and other devices.
When should i arrive for my massage?
Arrive a few minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you are able to receive your full service time and to find the business location. Divine Healing Massage is located inside Kamei’s Eco Nail Spa. Parking can sometimes be tricky to find in Historic Folsom. Please see parking map.
Can I drink alcohol before my massage?
It is strongly recommended not to drink any alcohol beforehand. The massage process can actually amplify the affects of alcohol, and other drugs, as they are circulated through the bloodstream. If you do arrive intoxicated, I will have to cancel the appointment and the payment will be withheld.
